Every activity needs a theme for its success. The theme song for Commonwealth Games 2010 was awaited from a long time. The much awaited theme song by everyone is now in front of us. The song is launched at a gala function in Gurgaon on Saturday 28 Aug, 2010 and is composed by the great Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Indian President Mrs Pratibha Patil during a function held on Sunday at Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Ashoka Hall, New Delhi presented the National Sports Awards for the year 2010. The award was given by Mrs Pratibha Patil to the top players of the country. The Indian President awarded 33 sports awards to distinguished sports personalities for their achievements in the Indian sports field. The awards which was given are Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award 2010 including Arjun Awards which was given to 15 players


Model Natasha Padbidri Commits Suicide

 After some days of suicide of Viveka Babajee, one another model of Mumbai committed suicide   on Sunday. Dead body of Natasha Padbidri was found hanging on her ceiling fan.

According to police Natasha Padbidri, 30 year old model, living in a flat at Petricorn Bulding Neptune Apartments on Mandir Masjid Road in Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai, hanged herself on a ceiling fan by Dupatta in the bedroom of her flat.
Police said that few years ago Natasha Padbidri has done some modeling assignments.

Being on number one as India’s most popular social site, Orkut is now replaced by Facebook in India. Even, in a July 2010, with a 19.87 million unique visitor Orkut is now on number two with a low double growth of 16 percent as compared to the last year.
3. Bharatstudent.com
Bharatstudent is a student networking site connecting young Indians worldwide. Bharatstudent is on number 3 with 4.4 total unique visitor in July 2010. It has 3 percent growth in its unique visitors as compared to July 2009 over the last year.
4. Yahoo! Pulse
Yahoo! Pulse comes in force by integrated and improved Yahoo! Profiles and Yahoo! 360 and is the fourth most popular Indian networking site visited by 3.5 million unique visitors in July 2010.

Twitter had the highest growth rate among all the 5 upper mentioning social networking site increasing 239 percentage from the last year July 2009. 8 percent of total internet users uses twitter in India while it is used by 20 percent internet users in Indonesia and Brazil.

Yahoo! Buzz was launched in 2008. Following Ibibo, Yahoo! Buzz is on number 9th with total number of 1.8 million unique visitors in July 2010. There is 233 percentage growth rate in Yahoo! Buzz as compared from last year July 2009.

Shtyle.fm has the highest growth rate amongst all the 10 social networking sites. It had 281 percentage growth since July 2009. The website is on 10th number with a 1.55 unique visitors in July 2010.
